All of our knives are steel forged by expert blacksmiths across Asia. Every knife is meticulously made by blacksmiths with over 20 years experience using traditional & modern Japanese techniques. Our distribution warehouses are in Japan, USA and China.

Our other premium items maybe handcrafted or manufactured by high-end modern standards.

How should you sharpen the knives?

We recommend using a whetstone or sharpening rod to sharpen your knives.

Also, knives should never go in the dishwasher. Dishwasher detergent is very abrasive, and along with the banging around that happens during a wash cycle, will take the sharp edge right off your knife.

We have a range on our website and also have some articles on our blog, which talk you through the best way to look after and sharpen your knives, including recommended angles, etc

Majority of cases no, however, some countries will require additional import fees, taxes and custom fees.

It's honestly hard to say, majority of international import and export processing times are normal and as expected currently, however, if a delay occurs it's normally a few extra days.

Return Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

If in any case your item is held by customs, you are liable to pay for its release.
